How to make tincture.

Tincture is easy to make and allows you to infuse with your own personal intentions and frequency for your highest and best!

You will need the following – dried blue lotus flowers, a jar (the bigger the jar the more tincture you will make.), brandy.  Brandy is the traditional liquor used for tincture making (I also prefer the taste). However, you may use whatever liquor is your preference.

1 – If you are using whole flowers that will need to be chopped. Fill the jar completely leaving a little headroom.

2- As you pour the brandy over the flowers state your intentions for this batch of tincture. Send it your love and call upon the spirit of the Blue Lotus to bless this creation. Cover the flowers completely with the liquor. You want to make sure the flowers are completely submerged.

3 – Secure the lid and place in a dark cabinet, leave for at least one week up to 6 weeks. Be sure to shake the jar everyday and ensure the flowers are submerged. Recall your intentions for the tincture as you do your daily shaking.

4 – When you feel the tincture is ready, strain with a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Press thoroughly to release as much liquid as possible. Your tincture may be a bit thick at this point. You may add more liquor at this stage in a 1:1 ratio or until your desired consistency.

5 – Put the tincture into dark colored dropper bottles and continue to store away from sunlight. Use 5-15 drops under the tongue or in a beverage.

Voilaa!
